The road bridge between Sieradz and Woźniki is one of the most important bridges in this area, considering its strategic importance. Because of that it was destroyed in 1939. During its reconstruction it was equipped with mine cells and bunkers in the abutments. In 1945 three central spans were blown up. Existing bridge is a continuous gerber beam consisting of nine spans.
